PumpsCart is leading Dealer & suppliers of Pumps for Agriculture Industry in India is a major economic activity which contributes significantly to the economy of India. Agriculture water pumps in India is the most effective machine for irrigation purposes. They play a fundamental part in agriculture as they pump water from the source to the agricultural field. Pumps can be used for many types of irrigation, such as drip, sprinkler, and using a hosepipe. The Agriculture sectors comprise establishments primarily engaged in growing crops, raising animals, and harvesting fish and other animals from a farm, ranch, or their natural habitats. Submersible pump are used in bore well for agricultural and domestic purpose, building construction and industrial purpose. The range offered is between 0.5HP to 5 HP. Some of the features of our products are: Multy stage pumps which run on single phase and three phase power supply. Pumpscart diaphragm pumps are synonymous with quality and innovation. Recognized all over the world, Pumpscart diaphragm pumps are ideal for high pressure airblast and boom spray applications in orchards, vineyards, nurseries and green houses.

BENEFITS OF  PUMPSCART FOR AGRICULTURE
Priming and Self-Priming Capacity – Pumpscart diaphragm pumps generate an airtight seal and create a strong vacuum on the suction line, allowing the pump to lift fluids from levels lower than where it is physically located. Additionally, diaphragm pumps can be operated without filling the suction pipe, as it can suck up the air in the suction pipe and eliminate it through the delivery line.

Dry Running Capacity – Due to the airtight seal between the pumping chamber and the lubricated transmission components, Pumpscart diaphragm pumps can withstand periods of dry running without negative effects.

Resistance to Abrasion and Chemicals – No mechanical parts on the pump experience direct contact with the liquid in use, meaning that the diaphragm pump can be used with liquids that are not perfectly filtered, with no adverse effects.

Types of Agriculture Pumps

Positive Displacement Pumps

A positive displacement pump displaces or pushes the water from one place to another by mechanical energy. It has two sides a suction side and a discharge side. The fluid goes into the suction valve and comes out through the outlet valve. They use the piston’s reciprocating, rotary, or linear motion to trap a fixed volume of fluid in a compartment inside the pump, which is then transferred or discharged outside through the nozzle.

Centrifugal pumps

A centrifugal pump moves the fluid through the pump by virtue of rotatory motion. Centrifuge pump is always immersed in water, and its rotation transfers the kinetic energy to the fluid from the motor. Due to this kinetic energy, the fluid moves through the pump and departs through the discharge valve. They are usually operated by electrical energy. This electric energy can be from the regular public supply or from solar, wind, hydro energy, etc.

Submersible pumps

A a submersible pump is installed below the surface of the water. It consists of waterproof elements. Submersible pumps can be single staged pumps or multi-staged pumps (a combination of many single staged pumps). They are usually operated by electrical energy. They can be operated by solar energy, wind energy, hydro energy, etc. They can be used when the water level of the water source is shallow.

End-suction centrifugal pumps

All the portable types of pumps, including booster pumps, are end-suction centrifugal pumps. They are often connected with a rotating motor. These pumps are not suitable to use when the water source is situated lower than 4 feet from the pump. They are usually operated by electrical energy. They can be operated by solar energy, wind energy, hydro energy, etc. They can be used when the water level is moderately deep.

Jet pumps

A jet pump or a hydraulic lift has the capability to lift water from a water source, which is situated very low from the level of the pump, but they have a lower flow rate. They are used to pump water from a river or a deeper water body. They are usually operated by electrical energy. They can be operated by solar energy, wind energy, hydro energy, etc. They can be used to pump out water from a very deep water source.

Floating pumps

A floating pump is a normal centrifugal pump that is connected to a floating object. They are used to pump water from the surface of a lake or a pond. They generally make use of submersible pumps. They are usually operated bY electrical energy. They can be operated by solar energy, wind energy, hydro energy, etc. They can be used to pump water from a shallow water body.

FAQ

These pumps are used to irrigate agricultural land for crop production. A pump system for today’s irrigation is not only about the pumps. Variable speed drives, intelligent control and remote management all necessitate the integration of components in an irrigation system.

Centrifugal water pump is most commonly used for agriculture purposes, it is a rotary machine in which an impeller rotates inside a casing, draws in the liquid at its center, and throws out the liquid through an opening at the side of the casing due to centrifugal force.

Pumps are used extensively in agriculture to move water from the water source, which could be a river, dam or bore, through pipes to either a point of usage or a storage facility, such as a water tank or an irrigation system.

Agricultural water pumps offer multiple benefits to farmers, crops and ecosystems. It’s a modern irrigation practice that help to use water more efficiently. Agricultural water pumps come handy in a complishing the purpose and maintaining the greenery throughout the fields.

Agriculture Application Pumps Specification
The power range of the solar-powered water pump varies from 1 to 10 kW or Hp. … The flow rates also depend on the number of stages in a pump. These pumps are multi-stage with a higher number of impellers making the pumping of water more efficient.
